About OsteoStrong:

OsteoStrong Rapid City was founded in 2016 by Herb and Shelley Ebel, who introduced OsteoStrong's innovative osteogenic loading technology to the Black Hills. Over the next nine years, they helped hundreds of area residents improve their bone health, strength, balance, and overall quality of life.

In December 2025, Cory and Kara Jobgen purchased OsteoStrong Rapid City and assumed ownership on January 1, 2026. After years in construction, business ownership, and physically demanding work, Cory began searching for natural solutions to his own back and joint challenges. That journey led him to OsteoStrong and the science behind osteogenic loading.

Inspired by the results and the impact the center was already having in the community, Cory and Kara chose to continue the legacy Herb and Shelley built. Their focus is simple: provide a welcoming environment where people can build strength, improve bone health, move with greater confidence, and continue doing the things they love.

Today, OsteoStrong operates more than 200 centers across 14 countries, with members completing over 11 million sessions worldwide. We are proud to continue serving the Black Hills community and helping our members live stronger, healthier, and more active lives.
